Professional certification
Our ASCA coach-education pathway equips coaches with practical frameworks for planning, stroke analysis, physiology, season design and leadership, from Level 1 through Level 5, alongside observation and mentoring for coach trainees.

About Activate
Sport develops people best when participation, coaching and organisation develop together.
Activate grew from practical experience in sport and a family connection to swimming, coaching and programme administration: more than 50 years of it, combined.
With a strong foundation in aquatic development, our work connects the participant’s experience with the people and programmes that support it: planning, coach development, standards and the digital systems that keep a programme running.
We believe progress is about more than a result on the day. It is growing confidence, strengthening skills, developing capable coaches and building communities that keep people moving forward.

The people behind it
Cardesha Lyons began swimming at three and went on to study Sport and Recreation Management at Nova Southeastern University, combining lived experience in the water with professional training in how sport is run.
